A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status on behalf of former Comcast and Adelphia Communications consumers who have been inconvenienced by cable and Internet operational changes. As Time Warner Cable tries to integrate operations serving cable customers in five Southern California counties, customers have been aggrieved by Internet outages, and by long waits for in-home service and live phone operators. The lawsuit accuses Time Warner of breach of contract, fraud and deceit.

I cancelled my service with Time Warner Cable in NC May 2nd returning the equipment the same day. They are trying to charge me for their services until May 12th. I woud think trying to charge someone for services they are not receiving any longer should be illegal. I would never try to charge my customers for something they did not receive. This is absolutely absurd.

I have paid Time Warner for their top speed Internet for 10 months now. I've had numerous techs come and spent several hours on the phone to figure out why I only get less than half of what I pay for. Today I was finally told by a phone technician that I should go buy a router and modem. He said Time Warner is having a lot of problems with their newest router and if a tech comes to my house, he will probably replace the router with the same one, causing me to still have the problem. I pay a lease fee every month for this modem, and to be told I need to go buy one in addition to what I already pay for, and it must be approved by Time Warner, is preposterous. I can't be the only one who is hearing this story.

Loss of internet time which is very damaging to my small eBay business. From 6-10-08 to 6-20-08 and continuing. Time Warner internet has been sporadically working with outages ranging from a few minutes to hours with no service. Transfer rates are also very slow. Everything is the opposite of Time Warner's TV commercials. They are a fraud.

Cancelled my cable service effective 10/20/07 and returned all equipment by 10/20/07. On 10/27/08, I rec'd an email from Time Warner stating that I will be receiving a refund of $72.91, since I cancelled mid-month.
It has been 5 mos and I still have not rec'd the refund. I have contacted Time Warner a total of 14 times to get my refund and they just keep telling me "it's in the mail." I have detailed notes on each call I made to TWC.

I have been unable to conduct my business communications and have lost income- I have been unable to complete registration for air flights and classes necessary to my occupation.
My daughter has been unable to complete her schoolwork in an expedient fashion-and has had to go elsewhere to do so, and hasn't been able to complete some scholarship apps on time because of unreliablity of service.

Cable service was not working from June 13, 07 to June 25, 07. Took a total of 9 hours of phone and email time. Now I'm being harassed and sent to collections for $1000 in equipment that I've sent in proof of them taking back. Spent over 10 hours already trying to get that resolved with no success.
