A class action lawsuit has been filed against Tenet Healthcare Corp., the parent company of Piedmont Healthcare System, and AMISUB, both of South Carolina. The suit was filed in regard to an alleged breach of contract with York County, concerning pricing at Piedmont Medical Center. The suit claims that patients were billed more than allowed under contracts, and it was filed on behalf of all of those who were Wade Comer and/or PMC patients since January 1, 1997.
