State Accident Insurance Fund Corp. Class action status is being sought in a lawsuit filed on behalf of of all SAIF policyholders, which is comprised of about 46,200 Oregon businesses, governments and nonprofit agencies. The suit was filed in regards to the company's controversial rebates to customers, known as dividends, which amounted to $734 million dollars from 1990 to 2000. The suit claims that the company should have spent up to $700 million dollars more in customer rebates.
