Sprint Secures Settlement of $17.5 Million for Early Termination Fees

This is a settlement for the Sprint-Nextel lawsuit.

Sprint has secured a preliminary court approval of $17.5 million to settle a pending class action lawsuit over its early termination fees, fees which were ruled illegal in California earlier this year. The settlement excludes the California case.

The settlement could be granted final approval by March 2009.
