Soriatane

FDA Public Health Advisory

Soriatane (acitretin) is an oral retinoid and has been prescribed for the treatment of severe psoriasis. It is closely related to Tegison that was withdrawn from the market when it was found to increase the possibility of birth defects. Major fetal abnormalities related to Soriatane, including neurologic and skeletal deformities, have been reported.

Blood Donor Refusal

Due to potential harm to blood recipients who are or may become pregnant, the FDA recommends that any donor who has taken or is taking Soriatane should be deferred for at least three years after stopping Soriatane therapy.

Possible Soriatane Side Effects Lawsuit

If you or a family member have taken Soriatane and have experienced any side effects, you may be entitled to compensation.
