Service Corp. International Employee Back Wages and Unpaid Overtime

A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the funeral home company for allegedly failing to pay back wages and overtime. The class action lawsuit was filed in US District Court in Pittsburgh on behalf of 7,000 current and former workers. Service Corp. International owns more than 1,700 funeral homes nationwide. Dozens of employees want to be part of the plaintiff class, but the case had not yet been certified by a judge as a class action suit.
