Former employees of the commercial printing company in North Canton have filed class action lawsuits for back pay and other compensation after it closed suddenly on August 3, 2006, after 66 years of business. Two class action lawsuits were filed in Stark County Common Pleas Court and the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and allege executives used company money and a company jet for personal use even as the firm slashed employees' wages and benefits. After the doors closed, employees were denied accrued vacation pay and prepaid health benefits.
