A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the upscale topless club owner for allegedly taking employees' tips and failing to pay proper wages. The lawsuit was filed in US District Court in Manhattan against Scores Holding on behalf of dancers and other workers at nightclubs in Manhattan, Chicago, Las Vegas, and New Orleans.
Scores encourages its customers to use "Diamond Dollars," which they can purchase with a credit card and use toward tips. The lawsuit claims Scores charged customers an extra fee to buy "Diamond Dollars" and then paid workers less than the value of the tokens. The suit also claims the clubs cheat workers by failing to pay minimum wage and overtime compensation.
