A class action lawsuit has been filed against Resurrection Health Care Corporation on behalf of uninsured patients. The suit alleges that the company has violated Illinois fair business practices laws by charging uninsured patients inflated rates that are substantially higher than rates for insured patients. The suit further claims that the defendant uses aggressive and abusive collection tactics and dissuades poor uninsured patients from applying for charitable care.
