A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the company for allegedly providing incentives to its agents to refer their clients to affiliated Burnet Title for high-priced title and closing services without full disclosure. The lawsuit was filed in Hennepin County District Court and claims Coldwell Banker Burnet did not represent some client's best interests because it knowingly steered them to Burnet Title for title insurance and closing services.
