A suit seeking national class action status has been filed against Qwest Communications International alleging that sales representatives worked off the clock before their shifts began and after they ended, siting enormous pressure to meet sales quotas as the source of pressure to work off the clock.
Allegedly, sales staff could not get permission to log off the new customers queue so that they could return customers calls, and had to wait until off-hours to make these calls, working up to two hours off the clock.
