United States Postal Service
A class action lawsuit has been filed against the United States Postal Service on behalf of over 200,000 postal employees nationwide. The suit alleges that the postal service has been "systematically and purposefully" altering the workers electronic time slips to avoid paying them overtime. The suit claims that supervisors at the USPS have been intentionally deleting regular and overtime hours for letter carriers, rural route letter carriers, mail handlers, window clerks, drivers and other employees, which has resulted in a reduced salary to the employees.
