Recalled: Adventure Playsets Wooden Swing Sets
Backyard Ventures Inc., of Amarillo, Texas has recalled approximately 26,000 wooden swing sets after 64 reports of bolt heads twisting off during consumer installation. The swing set frame could detach from the main structure and potentially cause a hazardous fall.
The recalled Adventure Playsets Wooden Swing Sets include the following models: The Durango, Tacoma, Oddsey, Bellvue, Monarch, Grand Teton and Outlook II. All the swing sets are wooden and have various types of slides and swings and have a fabric canopy over part of the swing. They were sold in the U.S. at Wal-Mart, Menards, and Toys "R" Us stores and Wal-Mart.com from February 2006 through March 2006 for about $1,000.
