Class-action certification has been granted to a lawsuit filed against Pilkington North America, Inc. claiming that the company intentionally failed to notify village residents of Naplate, IL. of contamination created from the decades-ago dumping of arsenic-laced materials used in making glass. The suit is scheduled to go to trial in November 2004.
