Wilmette Park District

A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the district for allegedly violating Illinois state labor laws by failing to pay workers for time they spent traveling between job sites. The lawsuit also claims park officials required employees to report to work at specific times in the morning but did not pay them for that time. The case was filed in Cook County Circuit Court on behalf of current and former employees and seeks lost wages, interest and attorneys' fees.
