Class action status is being sought in a lawsuit filed against Omni Hotels, operator of the Omni Royal Crescent Hotel of New Orleans on behalf of former hotel workers. The workers allege that hotel management mishandled a mold infestation, causing the workers to become ill. The suit alleges that whether "from bad design, inferior construction, or from the desire of the corporate defendants to save money rather than complete a safe and adequate renovation, the hotel was insufficiently waterproofed."
