A long running complaint can now officially be filed as a class action lawsuit against the carpet manufacturer on behalf of over 30,000 employees. The US 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled one of the world's largest carpet makers can be sued under racketeering laws over allegations of hiring thousands of illegal immigrants and depressing wages. The lawsuit claims Mohawk violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act of 1970 and could include current and former employees who worked for the company from January 2000 until present.
