Ottawa - A lawsuit has been filed against Mitel Networks Corporation and is seeking class action status against the telecom equipment maker alleging it failed to provide reasonable notice under common law and therefore its unilaterally imposed severance package is inadequate. The lawsuit was filed in Ontario Superior Court on behalf of Mitel Networks employees who were or are set to be terminated from August 15, 2006 to September 30, 2006.
