A class action lawsuit has been filed against the school district which seeks to stop it from paying $500,000 severance to superintendent Dr. Roy Brooks. The lawsuit was filed in Pulaski County Circuit Court by a group of parents and taxpayers and claims the Little Rock School District's payment to Brooks is illegal and unconstitutional because public money will be used.
