A class action lawsuit against L'Oreal alleges the company falsely promoted Garnier Fructis hair products by misleading consumers that they strengthened hair. L'Oreal claims in both labeling and advertising, that its shampoos and conditioners make hair five times stronger and smoother. Over $70 million worth of Garnier Fructis shampoo products have been sold in the past year.

I had been using the Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures line for 7 months. I developed red painful skin lesions and extreme hair loss. I thought that I had an internal issue causing my hair loss and have been to the dermatologist, endocrinologist and my regular doctor to try and diagnose what was happening. My health was perfectly fine yet my hair still was falling out in horrific amounts daily. I decided to try a new shampoo and conditioner after seeing many reviews of other people who have developed the same issues while using this product line. As soon as I stopped using the products my hair stopped falling out.

After using whole blends honey I ended with hair falling out as well has my entire face was swollen and itchy with hives and this twice ended up on prednisone twice which I should not be taking due to my other health problems ended up seeing a allergy doctor and I figured out it was the shampoo by putting a drop on my wrist and it was swollen itchy and very red

I’ve been using Lorien Garneir Fructis Shampoo and Conditioner and Leave in Conditioner for 13 years and I’ve lost so much hair now I thought it was related to my age but after reading all these similarities I believe it’s the product I will throw out all my products today it’s a shame because I have so many extra stuff that costs so much.
Maybe we’ll see some results in the future from this company.

I was using whole blends shampoo my hair was Fallon out by handfuls not explanation for it now paying 45 dollars lots of blood work and a dermatologist still no anwser now using nip in shampoo

I use to shampoo and condition with these Garnier products until I noticed that it was not working on my hair. It also made my hair feel dry afterwards.

My wife has exclusively used Garnier Fructis Daily Care 2 in 1 Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner for years. She has developed a circular bald spot with a painful rash on the back of her head that won't heal. I'm going to try to find her a new brand of hair care products.

I have been using Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color (#63) almost since they started selling it; however, for the last three years, I have been experiencing eye inflammation to the point that it does not go away. My ophthalmologist has been treating me for an allergic conjunctivitis with steroids and allergy medication. Just today, there is an article on Yahoo News (Spanish) about a young man who died his hair and his eyelid looks exactly like mine when the inflammation goes out of control. Not blaming Garnier, although will keep track of hair treatment and any reactions from now on. September 17, 2018.
