A class action lawsuit has been filed against Livescan, a company that makes digital fingerprint technology, and the state of Oregon. The suit was filed by Medford resident Miguel Espinoza who alleges that his business was destroyed following a fingerprint mix-up which falsely indicated that he had been convicted of a homicide. The suit also claims that the Oregon State Police have known about problems with digital fingerprinting for six years.
