Kroger
A federal class action lawsuit has been filed against Cincinnati-based grocery chain Kroger on behalf of employees. The suit alleges that the company has committed widespread violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act. The suit claims that the grocer did not provide health care benefits for three of the plaintiffs when they took FMLA-protected leaves during 2002, and that they were not reinstated to the same or equal positions when they returned to work.
