A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the information technology services firm regarding its proposed sale. The lawsuit claims the sale would personally enrich Kanday's directors and would not be in the best interest of the firm's shareholders. The lawsuit was filed in Cook County Circuit Court and accuses Kanbay and its seven directors of breaching their fiduciary duty when it agreed to be acquired by Capgemini for roughly $1.25 billion.
