A lawsuit has been filed and is seeking class action status against the janitorial firm alleging unpaid overtime and minimum wage violations. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of illegal immigrants who worked long hours cleaning theme restaurants. Employees claim they worked 80 to 100 hours a week without earning overtime or even the prevailing minimum wage.
Rosenbaum-Cunningham and three top executives were indicted this year in Michigan on federal charges they harbored illegal immigrants for profit and failed to pay the federal government more than $18 million in employment taxes. The charges are still pending.
