Please register your complaint for a possible class action suit against Hyundai Motor Co.

Hyundai Motor Co. was found guilty of falsifying engine output figures of 15 models of its cars following investigations by the Korean Ministry of Construction and Transportation (MOCT) early last year.

The alleged Hyundai engine hp inflation rate, which varies from country to country, is directly proportionate to car size; i.e, the bigger the car, the higher the rate which reaches 40% in trucks. For example, Avante/Lantra/Elantra is sold in many countries as having a 114 hp engine while in truth its engine output is only 92 hp. It is sold in Korea as having 108 hp engine. Hyundai heavy trucks whose engine output is 255 hp are sold as having 330 hp engines. Hyundai allegedly started to practice such false labeling from 1990.

Hyundai models which are allegedly falsely labeled include Santa Fe, Sonata, Elantra, Accent, Coupe, Trajet, Matrix, Terracan and all commercial vehicle models.
