The class action lawsuit filed against H&R Block on behalf of as many as 17 million customers will proceed, according to the Supreme Court. The suit alleges that the company inflated interest on refund loans, charging as much as 100 percent in interest on the loans. The suit further claims that customers were not told that the company was profiting from the loans, which were advances on estimated tax refunds.
