Approximately 7,300 rescue and clean-up workers allegedly were not sufficiently protected for the job of cleaning up Ground Zero. A class action lawsuit has been filed and claims government officials and construction contractors negligently exposed workers to dangerous levels of toxins at the site. So far, 41 deaths are now alleged to have been caused by toxic exposure.
