I have a wooden floor damage due to leak from valve in GE refrigerator.
I had a tech from GE in my house when I complain about slow water and no ice coming and he didn't find any issues. A couple days after he's visit I had a large water pool in my wooden floor. After the original GE visit I had 4 more visit with no help until last tech installed new valve. I really need a help to dealing with terrible customer service in GE to cover my expense due to bad she vice and not bad parts.

Water dispenser line in freezer door freezes frequently requiring thawing with hair dryer. Ice maker broke and will only dispense crushed ice and not ice cubes. Solenoid valve for water dispenser started leaking which caused water damage to hardwood floors and ceiling below.

The solenoid started leaking water. It was leaking for approx 30 minutes before we noticed. Approx 1/4" - 1/2" of water in basement (unfinished). We were able to dry out basement, but not sure about subflooring under the refrigerator. Appliance repair service will be fixing solenoid sometime this week.
