A class action lawsuit has been filed against the Friendly Ice Cream Corp. on behalf of 2,800 people who may have been exposed hepatitis A from a waitress at the company's restaurant at 105 Broadway, Arlington. The suit alleges that the restaurant potentially exposed people to hepatitis A, and therefore many customers who ate there between June 4 and June 15 had to wait in line for inoculations. The suit claims that the plaintiffs suffered lost wages as well as harm, humiliation, and emotional distress due to the incident.
