Venango Park and Natural Resources Authority Operators

On behalf of approximately 40 landowners whose property was acquired by the park in the late 1960s, a class action lawsuit demands that the Venango Park and Natural Resources Authority produce its forest management plan and related documents to the court. The lawsuit claims that park operations such as timbering, oil and gas activities and gate and access fees, violate the state constitution which limits government use and/or deeds of its public lands.
