Loan Originators have filed a collective action against one of the largest mortgage lenders in the U.S. alleging they were denied overtime. Employees who sell financial products generally qualify for overtime. A U.S. District Judge conditionally certified the First Horizon case as a collective action. Potential plaintiffs must take affirmative steps to become members of the class and as many as 5,700 employees could qualify.
