Eastern Homes

A certified class action has been filed against the builder alleging homes are defective. The lawsuit was filed in Howard County Circuit court on behalf of more than 500 homeowners throughout Maryland regarding manufactured homes installed by Eastern Homes after August 25, 2000 that were affected by a ground anchoring issue. Customers have complained about buckled carpets, ceiling cracks, cracked blocks, loose anchor straps and other problems. The class action claims anchoring equipment was not correctly installed.
