A class action lawsuit has been filed by the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claiming the restaurant chain violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by discriminating against employees. The case was filed in the US District Court in Baltimore and alleges Denny's violated the rights of disabled workers by maintaining a policy that set an arbitrary limit on the number of days employees were allowed for medical leave.
