Fidelity Investments and Deere & Co.

Employees of Deere & Co. filed a class action lawsuit against their employer and the world's largest mutual fund company for allegedly charging unreasonable fees and expenses to manage retirement savings. The lawsuit was filed in US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and seeks to include thousands of other participants of the 401k plan. The lawsuit claims Fidelity and Deere & Co. assessed plan participants' expenses that were unreasonable and not incurred solely for the benefit of plan participants. The class also alleges the companies engaged in revenue sharing where the mutual fund firm administering the plans shares some the fees it charges with the customer.
