A class action lawsuit has been filed against the Chicago Public School and its officials for allegedly denying students access to water and bathroom breaks. The lawsuit was filed in federal court and aims to stop school officials from enforcing a rule whereby students are permitted to use the
bathroom only once per day and have a drink only during their lunch break.
The denial of washroom and water breaks at Cuffe Math and Science Academy are humiliating and deny students basic rights.
