Application for refinancing was denied although I had given them enough info verbally so they already knew I wouldn't qualify. I'm out the $380 appraisal fee, but most importantly they wouldn't give me a copy of the appraisal I could have used to shop for another lender. Their own brochure states it is a federal law that a copy must be provided. Personally, it's absurd to have to ask for a copy of anything you pay $380 for. It's my appraisal.
