Class action status is being sought in a lawsuit filed against the city of Cinncinnati on behalf of former tenants of the Huntington Meadows apartment complex. The suit claims that city officials conspired to evict hundreds of poor residents of the complex in order to build more upscale housing at the site. The suit alleges that by denying the plaintiffs equal protection under the law, the city violated several state and federal laws. The suit further alleges breach of contract and abuse of process violations.
