Cell Phone Companies
March 8 2004
A California law firm is investigating cell phone companies fees providing service in California, charging for "Night and Weekend Minutes" and then not allowing credit on customers bills for calls made during night and weekend hours. Companies being investigated include AT&T Wireless, Verizon, Cingular, NEXTEL, Cellular one, Sprint, T Mobile, and US Cellular.

I have been arguing with my phone provider, AT&T for several years now about cross communications issues. I have had dozens of my text messages sent to the wrong people and have received dozens of messages intended for other parties. AT&T has not denied the actions but has chosen to blame Apple, saying its a "device issue". Nothing could be farther from the truth, particularly since Apple replaced the device in question only for the problem to continue.
They have knowingly continued to hold me to my contract even though so many people in my social circle have been effected for several years. I am now in an arbitration proceeding that is nothing more than a dog and pony show. The FCC has filed a complaint and I have visited numerous law firms to discuss the matter, most if not all stating that I have a very very strong case for a suit on several different levels, but all have agreed I will need a Law firm that has a back round of taking on such a suit.
I have dozens of screen shots of the misdirected communications as well as case numbers from their technical service department, all stating that the issue has been identified and resolved, yet they can not produce one document to confirm either action.
My phone records have been with held from myself for many months now and AT&T has demonstrated that they operate by their own set of laws. This issue has caused me to loose my business and has caused numerous personal relationships to come to an end. I have incurred over 100 hours of technical support calls over the past several years and still no resolution.
Can you help me? Thank you, William Borgstrom
