Carfax
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Carfax by Mid-South Motor, a small used car business. The suit alleges that Carfax, a company which helps people trace the history of used vehicles, has engaged in providing services which are "unfair, false, deceptive and materially misleading." The suit claims that the company cannot check accident reports in 23 states and that the company's information is only updated every six months, so consumers may not be finding out the truth regarding the history of the car they are purchasing.

What about a Class Action suit against Carfax for having fraudulent information and they will not remove the false information unless I can provide a police report stating my vehicle was not involved. Question, how can I do this if I have no idea where alleged accident took place and, how do I receive and provide information that does not exist?

I was unable to sell my vehicle because Carfax reported my vehicle had 104,000 miles instead of 10,400 miles. I have had the oil changed three times at the same place, Kwik Kar (Kwik Industries), and it has to be them that reported it, as the report stated it was an oil change facility that reported the high milelage. I want justice, and who will pay the costs if I lose?
