A class action lawsuit has been filed against the Canon Group of Companies alleging certain digital cameras are defective. The lawsuit was filed in Ontario Superior Court of Justice against Canon Canada Inc. and Canon Inc. on behalf of all purchasers of specific camera models including SD450, SD300, A75, as well as other camera models. The suit claims Canon was negligent and breached customer warranties.
The suit claims damages for losses suffered by consumers that purchased popular models of Canon's digital cameras that are prone to suffer a malfunction with error code "e18".
