Class action status is being sought in a lawsuit filed against Cablevision Systems Corp. The suit was filed on behalf of at least 1,000 employees at Cablevision call centers throughout the tri-state area. The suit alleges that the plaintiffs were not compensated for the time it took to their customer service computers up and running, or for other "off-the-clock" tasks.
