Janssen-Ortho Inc. and Johnson & Johnson Corp.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the two drug companies alleging a possible link of mothers using Tylenol 3 and the death of breastfeeding children. The lawsuit was filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on behalf of infants who allegedly ingested potentially lethal components of Tylenol 3 through breast milk. The class action suit claims Janssen-Ortho and Johnson & Johnson knew or ought to have known about the serious risks to infants related to the use of Tylenol 3 by nursing mothers, but failed to warn them of those risks.
