Class action status is being sought in a lawsuit filed against Bon-Macy's on behalf of the store's credit card customers. The suit alleges that the company has routinely been charging the customers for insurance that they did not authorize. The suit claims deceptive business practices against Bon-Macy's, as well as credit services group Federated Department Stores Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio.
