Chicago - A class action lawsuit has been filed against the Italian company Buongiorno USA doing business in the US as Blinko. Every month, thousands of Verizon Wireless customers have charges from Blinko for products they neither wanted nor received. Charges for wallpaper, ring tones and other downloadable products keep appearing. Blinko allegedly used tactics such as unsolicited text messages and deceptive "free offers" to hook customers into monthly charges of $9.95 and up. Third party vendors pay cell phone providers a commission of up to 35% for billing customers. About 2,000 customers have disputed charges from Blinko on their phone bills.
