Allstate Insurance Company has allegedly charged different premiums to customers with the same risks, according to a class action law suit filed in St. Clair County Circuit Court, Illinois. The state law mandates that insurers treat similar risks alike and different risks differently. The claim alleges the insurance company violated the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act to its financial advantage.

I resigned my current insurance position with another company based on Allstates representatives actions, and statements. I spent 3.5 months and a considerable amount of money. They found out I was an impaired individual and stopped the process and denied me the opportunity to purchase the book of business. I now have no job,and no opportunity due to Allstate. They stated I was just not the best candidate for the opportunity. It should not have taken 3.5 months, and my job to figure this out. I believe they discriminated against me due to my disability and age.
