The '21' Club in Manhattan is facing a class action lawsuit alleging that the business stole tips from waiters and other employees working in its banqueting business.
The class action was brought on behalf of more than 30 people currently employed with the famous restaurant, some of whom have worked at the '21' for decades, reportedly.
The allegations reportedly state that '21' charges its banqueting customers 21.75 percent for gratuities, but pays its staff only 18 percent of that money.
The suit could amount to more than a million dollars in damages, as there are more than 50 employees who have worked for the banqueting division of '21' over the past 6 years.
