A $1.8 million dollar settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit filed against PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting on behalf of 273 consultants who were hired but not employed by the company. The plaintiffs claimed that though they were hired, they did not receive either a job or a signing bonus, as agreed upon and stated in their employment contracts. Under the terms of settlement, the company will pay bonuses in the range of $3,000 to $7,000, and $363,000 in attorney fees for the class. (Aug-05-03) [ACCOUNTINGWEB]
