A $500,000 settlement has been reached in the class action sex discrimination suit filed on behalf of approximately 94 women who applied for jobs in the company's production department from 1994 to 2001, but were denied. Under the terms of settlement, the women will share in the settlement funds, and the company will institute new hiring processes, including advertising job openings and disregarding gender in reviewing applications.
