Washoe County, NV
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Washoe County, Nevada on behalf of the owners of 6,713 properties at Incline Village and Crystal Bay. The suit was filed in regards to rising property taxes, claiming that they have been illegally raised by an average of 31% in one year. The suit is seeking a refund of taxes which are determined to be excessive for this year and for past years, which could amount to millions of dollars.

Our house payment went up $600.00. We have 3 kids and we are wondering what is going to happen to our future. Are we going to have to give up our house like 2 people in our block because we can't make the house payment? We are not even living paycheck to paycheck now, we are wondering if we are going to have food on the table now.
