Wal-Mart

A massive class action lawsuit has been filed against the retail chain on behalf of approximately 500,000 workers from Bangladesh, Swaziland, Indonesia, China, and Nicaragua. The suit claims Wal-Mart routinely forced employees to work overtime, often 16-18 hours a day. It also alleges workers are paid up to 30% below their country's legal minimum wage; most female workers are denied their legal maternity leave or benefits and workers are not provided with basic safety equipment.
